ANOTHER PFP? BUT WHY?
We got tired of low-quality, scammy, butchered NFT launches stealing the show. Cash-grabby and invasive marketing tactics have sucked the fun, and a lot of people’s precious ETH.
It was high time to turn things around, starting with a virtuous minting process.
And to do so, we decided to partner with a battled-tested protocol, Sushi, and leverage their trusted suite of tools to achieve an NFT mint that is:
- Fair
- Gas effective
- Transparent
- Safe
SO, HOW DO I MINT A SUSHIMI?
It’s different but it’s easy.
1- Dutch Auction on Miso
The Sushimi Dutch auction will kick off on April 20, at 9 am EST, on https://app.sushi.com/miso, with an initial supply of 5K Sushimis.
The starting price will be set at 2 ETH, with a floor of 0.05 ETH.
The killer feature: Since the auction will be running for 72 hours, there won’t be any gas wars.
Every participant will be able to commit to the price point and amount they feel comfortable with and the final token price will be settled on once all tokens have been bought.
Each auction participant will then be issued SUSH ERC-20 they’ll be able to use to redeem their NFT on sushimi.org.
2- Trading with Onsen and Redeeming
Again, it’s quite straightforward!
1 ERC-20 SUSH can be redeemed for 1 SUSHIMI NFT on sushimi.org. That’s it!
But after the Dutch Auction settles, it’s possible for you to end up with “portions” of an ERC-20 SUSH.
That’s why we’ll create an incentivized SUSH-ETH pool on Onsen so you can trade the extra or missing parts, or even farm before finally collecting your NFT (beware of Impermanent Loss!).
If you missed the auction, it could be your chance to get your SUSH ERC-20 with low fees compared to OpenSea (0.3% + gas vs 2.5% + gas).
3- Reveal
Beware, there are snipers out there! And to make sure everyone has a fair chance to get their hands on rare items, we’ve crafted our own anti-bot system. Basically, no one will be allowed to access the data related to an NFT that has not yet been minted. Things are more fun when they are truly random, right? And this way, no one, not even the team, can know what’s coming and save the best pieces for themselves. Fair and square.

50% of our sales and 50% of royalties will be shared with xSushi holders, no questions asked.
